Back in the late 1990s, I was building web pages on Tripod.
Remember Tripod?
I also remember when AltaVista was one of the big search engines.
Then Google came along.

Email is still here.
Social platforms appear almost overnight.
Others quietly disappear.
Every few years there’s another “must-use” platform that promises to change everything.
Some do.

Email quietly survives them all.
Why?
Because it solves a timeless problem.
People want useful information from people they trust.
That hasn’t changed.
The technology delivering the message has improved.
The human need behind it hasn’t.
That’s why I don’t build my business around trends.
I build around assets that continue working regardless of which platform happens to be popular this year.
Email is one of those assets.
It gives your business stability.
Not excitement.
Stability.
And stability is underrated.
When your business depends entirely on one platform, you’re always waiting for someone else’s next decision.
When your business includes an engaged email list, you have something much more dependable.
You have options.
